In Defender, the classic arcade game, you must destroy
the invading aliens and save your people from being abducted.
And if you don't save them... watch out! The aliens will
mutate them into super-aliens who are really good at killing
you! Also, if you shoot an abducting alien from too high,
your fellow citizen will plummet to his death. You must catch
him in your Defender ship and drop him safely to the ground.
Oh, and your guns can kill your fellow citizens,
so watch where
you're
shooting. Be sure to use your Defender radar (at the top
of the screen) so you'll be prepared for the aliens you might
encounter.
Oh, and a word of warning: The hyperspace drive on your Defender
ship is acting up; if you use it, it'll take you to a random
part of the map (maybe smack into the middle of an alien
ship!)
Controls: Defender is controlled with the arrow keys (up,
down, left, right). Weapons include laser (A),
smart bomb (S)
and hyperspace mode (D) Extra smart bomb every 5,000 points; extra Defender life every 7,500 points.
Note: Wait for the Defender game to load completely; then click "START" on
the left-hand side of the screen
